Altar Training Part 2: Embracing Grace and Faith in Ministry

Session Overview

In this final session of our Altar Ministry Training, we focus on the themes of grace, faith, and the patience required in altar ministry. This session encourages ministers to rely on God’s timing and to minister with persistence, humility, and a Spirit-led heart. It equips participants to create a welcoming, compassionate environment where individuals can experience God’s healing and peace.

Practical Ministry Skills for the Altar

  • Engaging with compassion and focusing fully on the person before you

  • Praying with intentionality for healing, deliverance, and spiritual renewal

  • Surrendering negative attitudes and approaching each situation with a loving heart
