A Fresh Anointing: What God Did During 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
A Season of Seeking and Surrender
As we enter February, I look back in awe at all God accomplished during our 21 days of prayer and fasting in January. This was more than just a fast—it was a sacred invitation to draw near to His presence, humble ourselves, and prepare for the harvest ahead.
At Harvest Revival Center, our hearts were set on receiving new wine and a fresh anointing from the Lord. We entered into this fast believing that God would pour out His Spirit, reviving our hearts and commissioning us for the work He has prepared. Each morning, from January 5th through the 26th, a faithful remnant gathered at 6 AM to pray, decree, and wait on the Lord. What we experienced was nothing short of transformational.

Morning Prayer: A Faithful Gathering Before the Lord
Every morning, a core group of believers came together, lifting our voices in unity before God. Some came daily, others rotated in throughout the weeks, but every morning was filled with expectation. We prayed, we declared, and we listened. We pressed in, hungry for more of His presence.
During these times, the Lord stirred something deeper in my spirit—so much so that beginning Monday, February 3rd, I will be leading a weekly 6 AM prayer call every Monday morning through the rest of the year. This isn’t just about continuing the momentum; it’s about establishing a culture of prayer that prepares us for what God is about to do.
Fasting and Consecration: A Church Seeking the Lord
Beyond the daily times of prayer, many in our church felt led to fast and humble themselves before the Lord. I was truly amazed by the level of participation and the zeal within our body to seek God wholeheartedly. Fasting isn’t easy, but the testimonies are already pouring in—prayers answered, breakthroughs experienced, and hearts revived. God is responding to His people who are earnestly seeking Him.
As we journeyed through these weeks, everything built toward three powerful nights of revival services. We believed for a fresh wave of anointing to be poured out, not just for our own sake but for the sake of the Kingdom.
Revival Services: Fire, Repentance, and Commissioning
In the middle of these three nights, we took a special Sunday to intercede for our nation and its leadership, coinciding with the presidential inauguration. As a congregation, we humbled ourselves before the Lord, praying and declaring repentance over our nation. It was a powerful moment of surrender, where our voices were lifted not in complaint or division but in faith-filled intercession for our president, his cabinet, and the future of this country.
The final nights of revival were nothing short of Holy Spirit fire. JW Rucker, Zack Tripp, Katie Petersen, Jen Maxie, Geoff Gipe, and Steve Boehmfeldt preached the unfiltered Gospel with power, conviction, and an urgency that was tangible in the room. People were touched, healed, set on fire, and refreshed by the presence of the Lord.

On the final night, when Pastor Steve Boehmfeldt preached, we closed with a time of prayer that I will never forget. The Lord had placed it on my heart to anoint the feet of every individual, commissioning them to go forth into the world as bearers of His light. At the same time, Pastor Steve anointed a prayer cloth and commissioned each person to go out, symbolizing the power and presence of God going with them. Together, we set out to anoint and send them forth, declaring their steps to be ordered by the Lord and their mission to be Spirit-led.
Just before this time of prayer, the Holy Spirit baptized me with a deep travail—a moment that has only come a handful of times in my life. As each person came forward, I felt the weight of God’s love for them, and I was given a glimpse into their pain, suffering, and trials. I wept before the Lord, interceding over each one with tears and travail, crying out for the Father to anoint them afresh. It was not about appearances or dignity—it was about surrender.
We were no longer just believers gathered for revival services; we were a people being sent out, marked by the fire of God for the days ahead.
The Road Ahead: Harvest and Evangelism
I have no doubt that the Lord has poured out a fresh anointing over our church, not just for personal revival but for a mighty harvest this year. Even now, He is downloading strategies for us to take this fire beyond the four walls of the church.
This spring and summer, we are preparing to move outside—into city parks, neighborhoods, and the streets—with open-air preaching, evangelism, and outreach. What happened in these 21 days was not the culmination of something—it was the beginning.
Harvest Revival Center is about to explode with the power of the Gospel, and I can feel it in my spirit: it’s time to buckle up.
The harvest is ready. The workers are being anointed. Now, we go.
Are you ready?
